Inclusion and Diversity; No Longer Something to Consider, Something to Catch Up On

Set target goals and initiatives immediately

Businesses must now visually include different ethnicities and backgrounds to have a sample of real life society today. Inclusivity and diversity is not just the staff but reaching out to a varied audience and client. This also brings a varied outlook and thinking. It is imperative now that brands must be able to connect with varied cultures and the client must see this, not just saying it but doing it.

A company must set up target goals and initiatives in this area. This increases accountability of people in leadership roles, and allows for honest conversations of what is going on in the workplace between workers and bosses. Allow employers to share their ideas and solutions and we open to hearing them all. Does not mean you must implement but does mean that employees ‘feel’ heard – sincerely.

Diversity and Inclusion means:

  • Generational Diversity. …
  • Gender Diversity. …
  • Sexual Orientation Diversity. …
  • Incorporate Intentional Inclusion and Inclusion Training..
  • Address micro-aggressions early on.. (they will not go away, will fester and come out later)
  • Create Cultural Competence and Diversity Initiatives.…
  • Culture Fit: Having a Diverse Workforce. …
  • Racial Equity
  • Provide Diversity Training
