58 % of Travelers still want to Get ‘out of their Comfort Zone’.

According to a survey by global travel network Virtuoso, 74 % are willing to pay more to travel sustainably if they know where their money is going. 70 % agree that traveling sustainably enhances their holiday experience. 

Big trend in the travel industry is an increased commitment of purposeful travel. People today are looking for companies and experiences that focus on benefitting the locals of an area and that economy. they also want to preserve natural and cultural heritages.

According to a survey by global travel network Virtuoso, 74 % are willing to pay more to travel sustainably if they know where their money is going. 70 % agree that traveling sustainably enhances their holiday experience. 

According to an American Express survey found that 59 % agree that they are interested in ‘philantourism’ which is the act of choosing a vacation or experience in order to support a destination through tourism.

According to a Booking.com poll of more than 24,000 people, 58 % of travelers want to get ‘out of their comfort zone’. It also shows that 47 % look for a destination with completely different cultural experiences and languages to their home country.

24 % want to visit lesser-known cities off the beaten track.
